Little Jurassic People is a student graduation project developed over 9 months . This is a prototype for a massively multiplayer game ” sandbox” type 3D , created on the ShiVa engine and playable directly via browser
Its targeted main audience are casual gamers new to MMO games, while providing engaging content for initiated players.

In this game , players can explore a vast, varied and fully systemic prehistoric world, with dynamic flora and fauna : Dinosaurs mammoths and other animals live, chase each other, breed and migrate. Plants grow, disperse their seeds and fruits, and eventually wither or feed herbivors.

Free to choose their style of play, players can explore the universe and evolve their avatar at their own pace, alone or with other players, for sessions of a few minutes or several hours.
Through its dynamic aspect, the ecosystem encourages independent players to create their own goals and objectives, while providing predefined activities (racing raptor hunting contest, throwing clubs … ) to the players needing more guidance.

My role on Little Jurassic People

Game Design :
Implementation of different game systems ( life cycle of plants and dinosaurs, etc. )
World Building :
Defining and updating design rules of the world, decoration elements templates, world building procedures; graphic research; design of the general world layout, implementation and optimization of the world’s maps, while sticking to the constraints of the different types of audiences in terms of navigation and challenges offered; Creating atmospheres and decorations
Sound Design
Definition of the game’s sound and music specs.
Sound FX recording and editing; external composers management.

This tech demo is a virtual greeting card made for the holiday season. The project at the time was in an early stage, and great progress, have been done on both technical and graphical aspects.
