M’Dali
Concept
M’Dali is a Point & Click game developed during a 5-days game jam in Supinfogame. It is meant to be played with an associated physical card deck.In M’Dali , the player is a newborn god who must perform solve puzzles to perform miracles, in order to survive by keeping believers.
A card deck is used to solve the puzzles : the player observes various clues in the computer game itself, and uses cards (called “Artifacts of Destiny”). The puzzles use the cards in many ways: observation of the card’s elements, interpretation, and physical manipulation of the cards (such as move, turn , etc.).
Plot
You are a new god, born of the mind of a pretty beer intoxicated man. Your problem : it is necessary that people believe in you to continue existing, and when this man has sobered up, he won’t remember anything… To ensure your survival , you must get people to workship you, and to get believers, you need to perform miracles. Fortunately, you can still use artifacts destiny to help …
